How to play tokeneater

How to play: steer your cell with the mouse, a finger, WASD or the arrow keys. Eat tokens and smaller cells to grow, and stay away from bigger ones. Space or E splits your cell to catch someone, Q ejects mass. Rooms hold up to 50 players and a new one opens when one fills.

Grow by eating tokens and smaller cells; the bigger you are, the slower you move. Splitting throws half of your mass forward to catch someone, but leaves you in smaller pieces. A big cell that runs into a spiky green virus bursts into many pieces.

Play with friends: copy your room link in the game and send it. Developers can play the same rooms in a side pane of Claude Code.
